WHAT ARE WE DOING ?
Ok, This is something myself cath have been thinking about for age's and its pretty much
all organised. It's basicaly a Car scavenger hunt !

The Scavenger hunt starts at Springbrook ! Most of you know where this is as weve cruised their before

There will be meeting spots in brisbane and gold coast so that we all cruise up together

10 we will Give you all directions and maps and all these other good stuff like jelly beans

10.30 - The clock will start ! you will have Approx 2.5 hrs to complete as many tasks and
questions on the scavenger hunt.

The SH will consist of a big list of things you need to find out. places
to visit, questions that you might be able to find the answer in the refidex, The list
will have around 10-15 quetsions riddles on them which should take you approx 2hrs


2pm- You will make your way to Hamini's house for an afternoon BBQ where we
will add up your points give out prizes and just generaly socialise

BRISBANE SOUTHSIDE - TBA

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING
This list is important !

- Yourself ( Having a Passegner ! will give you a major MAJOR advantage on the day !! )
- Mobile phone ! Is a must incase you get lost and need directions (with credit ! )
-CAMERA !! most phones have them these days, If you dont have one let me know before hand
as i have 2 phones with cameras on them.
- A watch which is usualy on most phones so you dont get side tracked
- Refidex !! this is ALSO a must ! ( anyone without a refixed let me know before hand and we will sort somethign out)


CB RADIO is very very handy and makes the time go faster
we use channel 16

THINGS TO TAKE NOTE OF

Ok since this is very different from our usual cruise's there's going to be a few things you'l want to take note of.

1) Doing a scavenger hunt by yourself is very hard. If you guys prefer on the day we can pair people up ?
This is a great way to meet members of the club and find more about them but usualy most people like
cruising with the person they came with ? If you Dont have a passenger and would like one Post up
and will try pair you up with someone

2) I'll write more things down when i think of them.

3) Just thought of something then, This cruise is not really great for photos so it doesnt matter
if we have 15 cars or 5 ! having less cars with say 3 people per car will be alot easier
to play the scavenger hunt. more people = easier to work out riddels and puzzels

4) This is not so much as a big cruise together day ! we will have an hr long cruise in the morning
together to get to springbrook but the rest of the day is pretty much just to have fun and play the game
we will have plenty of time at the bbq to catch up with each other !

Alright as far as I know I'm in. I'll be bringing my girl (hopefully i'll have my car on the road by then). I have to work from 4am-8am but should have no probs getting wherever at 11 presuming I plan well before hand. Now is there going to be any rules?? (i.e. speeding, hooning etc.) Just wondering.

just want to point out that 3pm seems like a strange time to be eating to me, its exactly mid way between lunch and dinner (in my daily schedule anyways )

Its a cruising brisbane thing thats on at hobbytime in slacks creek i think....a couple of the low4sho cars are going and ive already registered for it.

opindown, If you not familar with the gold coast / brisbane its not a real big deal, most of the places are very easy to find specialy with a refixed and yellow pages handy if you need. Another option is to park your car at dreamworld and jump in someone else's car for the hunt or even drive around in teams .. but no more than 2 cars otherwise youll all just drive around together ! im not stupid

any other sugestions please feel free to make them.

hey we are prolly out for the cruise bit to early for us to wake up to be able to meet at the start time but thanks hanimii we will prolly just come along for the bbq that way i dont miss my second cruise in a row

Bugga!! unfortunately I'd be in Sydney and won't be back till late, look like I'm gonna have to miss this one. These navigation type runs are great fun everyone, don't miss out, seems like a full day but you won't regret it. Remember it's not a driving competition so drive appropriately to give your navigator a chance to spot answers.
