Ok guys. Organising a night out at willowbank raceway on the 3rd March. Its a Saturday.

Gates open at 4pm and runs commence at 4.30pm

To run at these events you need:

Requirements for a car - helmet to Australian Standards, long sleeve shirt, long pants & covered shoes.

Requirements for a bike - helmet to Australian standards, leather jacket or equivalent, long pants, boots & gloves.

Cars can not run quicker than 10.99 sec

Bikes can not run quicker than 10.00 sec

To run quicker than these you will need an ANDRA licence.


Cost

Payable on the night.

$36 to race, admits the driver and one other.


Spectators $18 adults, $16 students with ID

Children 13 & under are free.

So come out and see what you can do. Even if your cars stock its a hell of a lot of fun

Oh well if anyones not going to the coffs cruise ill be out there. Dont have enough cash for the coffs cruise but have enough for racing still

depending on what cath n dan are doing i might have 3 exra rooms .. but then theres always room on the floor or the balcony

Dont worry dude Ill be there to look after you and show you around. Its not very hard on your car at all, depending how hard you launch. Dont launch it off the limiter constantly and you'll be ok. Lawrence had that car out at the raceway a few times and if it held up to that it should be fine for drag. Even if you just baby it off the line and see what mph you get. You can calculate what youd get with a good launch then.

Dinner sounds good although the gates open at 4pm. Sat sounds good for doing the dsound deadener. Im more concerned with stripping the heater than the 1kg of sound deadener still there.

I dropped my car back thismorning. Exhaust will be fixed + actuator probs fixed so should be running full boost by wednesday.

heater wont take to long at all basicaly we pull the dash off and just start yanking the crap out of stuff till it falls off. just to be sure though we should start fairly early incase we yank the wrong thing and it falls off then were in trouble

We did get refunds on the accom so the Toowoomba crew will be their sporting Four cars and our new club shirts

Holy crap. In light of people bailing on cruises last minute this just turned into a big event. Sorry to the organisers of the coffs cruise. I was just offering something for those not going. Didnt mean to stuff up your cruise

Well with this amount of people im up for dinner first. I was going to get there very early and go hard but dinner with you guys sounds good. Ill be trying launching off the limiter a few times after a good 3rd gear burn out so it will be good to have the towoomba crew there. Maybe we can use vice grips and cable ties to repair my drive shafts when they snap

Well Ill leave it to Joshie to organise dinner. He is after all the master planner. I just hope my car is ready and all sorted out. If its not Ill bring the 3cyl swift out for a race . See you guys saturday!

the g-string challenge was for something with corners, hardly seems fair when u have the semi slicks and all that power! josh might just do it anyway though, ive heard he even owns his own pink g-string!
