maybe we should work out a place to make sure everyone would be happy to go to?
i really enjoy pub meals LOL like steak and stuff? maybe an Irish pub? plenty of them around... or mexican? Indian is good but you usually have to order more than one dish to get good variety and stuff.. hmmm....

well so far not much interest so maybe we need to settle where we're going to have it and make it a bit more official? i don't really know if waiting for everyone to say what they want is really a good idea as we'll have everyone saying they want something different. maybe just a place that is reasonably priced, good variety and easy to eat (not embarassing and messy).. If we go too much into exotic cuisine there are many things that people don't like, spice/style etc so just something simple.

i would recommend ashmore steak and seafood, you dont need to book, and can turn up with a group of 50 and they dont care. one problem might be, it is on the gold coast

Okay we've got:
Ok thats a heap if we go a week night easy parking for all of them. If not there is parking available. Most of these are probably busier fri & sat nights so a booking would be needed if we went then.
nicwan8
28 Nov 2008, 10:22 AM
Yeh...we got a list now..Thanks Hanim....
So list your choices people!

My choice is Norman but anywhere is still fine as long it's good

last time i went to chalk it was full of 40 year old men and my friend & i were the only young girls there and we felt like peices of steak

it's a nice place though! i vote for one of the funky beer houses in the city but parking is a problem
jezza323
28 Nov 2008, 10:37 AM
yeah belgian beer cafe is fun
so is brewhouse

Can someone (jezza/hanim) decide the place ? then we are done?

Easier that way....btw...i'm not familiar with many places for steak.....so it's best for you guys to decide...

How bout we all go to Breakfast Creek hotel, its in the City well near enuff, you can gett Big Mcfuck off steaks and there's plenty of parking available, othewise you can go across the river to the Breakfast Creek Wharf for Seafood.
Now they aint gunna be $7 Happy meals, so for those of you on the poorer side of life may wanna save a few of your hard earned Dole monies!
Anywhere in the CBD is ok as well, but more expensive and there is no parking excpet for $8 dollar/hour under the Myer Centre.
Or if you all wanna poo poo that we can all go to Pizza Hut and dine into the Resturant, if there is one left anywhere in Brissy!

h a n i m
28 Nov 2008, 11:55 AM
yeah i know one cos i'm poo poo and don't wanna spend all my hard earned dole monies haha

it's at browns plains LOL so good luck to u jared going all the way there.. plus i dunno it's kinda like sizzler you don't really get your monies worth and i was feeling all shitty afterwards cos there was some hugely fat people eating there so yeah it's kinda on my not to do list anymore

i'm not really fussed where we go hey, as long as food isnt over priced i'm happy, i've got a bit of money coming in now from working so i'm all sweet

mcfuckoff sized steaks sounds good for the guys and i've always wanted to go there

but i don't care hey haha city parking is generally a flat rate of about $10 after 6pm anyway but it would be good not having to pay that
jezza323
28 Nov 2008, 12:02 PM
yeah lets just do brekky creek hotel
steaks not as good as on the other side of the river but they got a bigger carpark
